Weleda Tinted Lip Balm

Weleda Tinted Lip Balm

I was lucky enough to sample the Weleda Tinted Lip Balm at the recent seminar at the UK HQ  before it hit the shelves.  I came home with my favourite shade, Berry Red and it has fast become a key handbag addition (along with my must-have Skin Food).  I’ve been using it pretty much everyday and I love it (and have had to hide it from my teenage daughter, who, in common with many teens, loves a lip balm!)

In a choice of Nude, Rose and Berry Red (my favourite!) there is a colour for everyone and, what’s more they’re suitable for vegans too!

A little bit about the range from Weleda UK:

“Take a look around the catwalks in Paris, Milan and New York this year and you will be struck by the naturalness. Once again, “less is more” in the world of fashion and make-up.

This season’s make-up trends display a beauty inspired by nature. For the first time ever, Weleda is offering a range of tinted lip balms, combining beauty and nature.

These tinted creamy-light lip balms enhance your natural beauty with a hint of colour and subtle sheen, whilst providing natural protection for smooth and soft lips with organic shea butter and organic jojoba oil.”

I’m not a big make-up wearer, preferring a more “natural” look, so for me, the tinted lip balms are absolutely perfect because they add a subtle hint of colour and shine without being too overpowering.   Lip balms are a popular item with teens and the Weleda Tinted Lip Balm range satisfies that desire without all the hidden nasties found in many other ranges.  From my young teen daughter’s point of view, they’re great.

What’s more, they smell absolutely amazing! As with the Everon lip balm, they have the gentle scent of rose and vanilla – divine!

Individually the lip balms are £6.95 each, however, you can buy all three for just £15.00 and you get a lovely limited-edition little make-up bag included!Weleda Tinted Lip Balm Giftset

I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as me!

Thanks to my fellow Weleda Wellbeing Advisor (Birmingham area), Sarah Butland-Clarke for the photos of the lip balms on skin – if you’re in Birmingham do visit her Facebook page if you’d like to know more, maybe try some samples or book a one-to-one or Wellbeing Event (nothing like having the opportunity to smell, feel and enjoy the range before choosing what to treat yourself with!)
