It’s been a rollercoaster couple of months for the new Weleda Tinted Lip Balms – they were received so well on launch that we rapidly ran out of the free pretty make up bags that were part of the gift set. So these were swapped for an equally pretty substitute bag. Then they won Best Lip Balm in The Beauty Shortlist 2017 Awards and stocks of the gift sets ran low again!
Packed full of moisturising goodness from organic shea butter and jojoba oil, with a divine scent of rose and vanilla, the lip balms are vegan (and skin) friendly and come in three colours: Nude, Rose and Berry Red. As I’ve said before, the Berry Red was an instant handbag essential for me (along with the ever-present Skin Food) and it’s still a favourite. Also, as a mother of a teenage girl (like so many of her peers, she loves lip balm) I can feel confident that she is using products that are free of any nasties you might find in other cosmetics.
I wrote an article on the balms on their launch at the beginning of February, but to update on that, internationally published make-up artist, Maria Samuel, has give the balms the thumbs (and perfectly manicured nails) up.
An Instagram Lip Balm Love In
Unsuprisingly, they’re popular around the world and some pretty lip balm pictures have been cropping up on Instagram. I couldn’t resist sharing some here!
So, what are you waiting for? You can order them today from my online shop.
